Nominations Open for Cannabis Industry Awards 2025
Nominations are now open for the Cannabis Industry Awards 2025, recognising individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the UK’s cannabis sector. The event is kindly presented by Curaleaf Laboratories and EastCann.
The awards, hosted by the Cannabis Industry Council, Drug Science, and the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society, will celebrate excellence across six categories, Winners will be announced at the awards dinner on Thursday, 6 November 2025 at the Honourable Artillery Company, London.
Recognising Individual Achievements
The Cannabis Industry Awards exclusively recognise outstanding individuals, rather than companies. Each category honours those whose dedication, leadership and impact have helped advance legal cannabis in the UK:

- Unsung Hero, presented by Curaleaf Laboratories and EastCann – Celebrating an individual whose quiet dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts have made a powerful and lasting impact on the cannabis sector.
- Social Impact, presented by Hilltop Leaf – recognising an individual who has made a significant difference to patients, families or communities through advocacy, education and support, or by improving access, awareness or quality of life.
- Contribution to Science (sponsor opportunity available), honouring those who have advanced scientific understanding of cannabis through research, innovation, or evidence-based practice.
- Clinician of the Year (sponsor opportunity available), awarded to a healthcare professional who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and compassion, and excellence in the care of patients using medical cannabis.
- The Green Award (sponsor opportunity available), celebrating innovation and leadership in environmental sustainability, recognising individuals driving eco-conscious practices within the cannabis space.
- Best Customer Service (sponsor opportunity available), recognising individuals who go above and beyond to provide exceptional support, care and guidance to patients or customers.

The Judging Panel
This year marks a significant development for the awards, the introduction of a formal judging panel to oversee shortlisting and selection. Confirmed judges include:
