MedCan Support is a charity co-founded by Matt Hughes and Hannah Deacon through their own individual struggles in spending hours researching and educating themselves in using cannabis to treat their children’s seizures.

Through their struggles and experience it was clear a central hub for education and research was needed. A great team has been pulled together with experts from around the world and UK – and, 1 year on, we support hundreds of parents, carers and families.

MedCan Support provide free resources and educational material on medical cannabis, the endocannabinoid system and the positive outcomes cannabis-treatment has had on so many people throughout the UK.

We provide information on accessing private prescriptions within the UK, and the latest information on legislation and policies surrounding NHS access.

We continue to collaborate with various organisations to bring about better education, access and outcomes for children.
