Opportunities from Industrial Hemp Report Launch in UK Parliament
The Cannabis Industry Council will host the launch of its new report, Opportunities from Industrial Hemp, on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at Thames Pavilion, UK Parliament, hosted by Baroness Jenny Jones.
The report explores the current landscape for industrial hemp in the UK, the barriers holding the sector back and the opportunities to unlock greater investment, innovation and growth across agriculture and industry. The CIC is grateful to CIC Members RX Extraction and Unyte Group for supporting this project.
The private, invite-only evening will bring together parliamentarians, policymakers, industry leaders, researchers and members of the media for an evening of discussion and networking, alongside the official launch of the report. The report will be made available to the public following the launch event on the CIC website.
Guests will hear from expert speakers and have the opportunity to connect with stakeholders from across the UK’s industrial hemp sector.
